
Whole sturgeon baked in the oven
Description
The dish is simple to prepare. Sturgeon baked whole in the oven will become the true centerpiece of any table, especially a festive one. Feel free to get creative with the garnish :) The fish retains its flavor, while the spices enhance it even more.

Step 1
Rinse the sturgeon under water and pour boiling water over it three times. Remove the sturgeon's scales, take out the innards and gills. Rinse again and dry with paper towels.

Rub the sturgeon carcass with salt and pepper both inside and outside. Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings. Line a baking sheet with foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Place sliced lemon, onion, and the fish on the baking sheet, then put the remaining lemon and onion on top of the fish.

Wrap the fish in foil and place it in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 200 degrees. Then, open the foil and bake for another 10 minutes so the fish develops a nice golden crust.
