Grilled sturgeon on the barbecue
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The recipe for cooking sturgeon on the grill is incredibly simple. The only difficulty arises if you have a whole, unprocessed fish. In that case, I recommend referring to a special recipe that explains how to properly butcher a sturgeon. But here, we present the recipe for sturgeon on the grill: 1. Prepare the fish pieces – it's best to cut them into medium-sized slices across the grain. Then thoroughly rinse under running water to remove the slime and dry with paper towels. 2. Prepare the marinade. First, slice the onion into thin half-rings or strips, remove the zest from the lemons and grate it, finely chop the cilantro, and place all these ingredients into a convenient, sufficiently deep bowl. Squeeze the lemon juice into the bowl, add salt, pepper, spices, and pour in 100 ml of white wine. Mix everything well. 3. Place the prepared fish pieces into the bowl with the marinade. Let the sturgeon marinate for about an hour. 4. Prepare the grill. Thread the sturgeon onto skewers and grill over charcoal for no more than 25 minutes. Sturgeon is best served with vegetables, pickles, and white wine. I wish you bon appétit. The finished dish is ready to be served.
