Ossetian pie with potatoes and cheese
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. Prepare the traditional Ossetian pie as follows: knead the yeast dough thoroughly and let it rise for at least an hour. While the dough is rising, boil the potatoes and mash them into a puree. Add butter and feta cheese, mix well, and divide the filling into equal portions. Do the same with the dough. Roll each piece of dough into a flat round, place a portion of the filling in the center, and seal the edges. Then flatten the filled dough ball into a round pie and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Don't forget to make a small hole in the center of the pie to let steam escape. Serve the hot pie immediately, brushing it with butter. Enjoy warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
