Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a recipe for an omelet from modern Japanese cuisine. In Japan, it is also known as Wasai-eigo (wasei-eigo), and in England it is known as "Japanese portmanteau." The finished dish can be served at the table.

In a deep skillet, heat 1 tbsp of butter and sauté the onion and chili until soft.

Add the chicken breasts and cook, stirring, until the pink color disappears.

Add shiitake mushrooms (if using) and cook for another minute.

Add the rice, mix, cook for a minute, and pour in the ketchup.
