Thin omelet
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. For a thin omelet, we don't use anything extra — just eggs and butter. Beat the eggs with salt, add the melted butter, and beat again. Pour the mixture into a pan and fry until done. When the omelet has set, fold it like a crepe and cut into portions. Serve while still warm. If desired, you can serve vegetables, meat, or fish with the finished omelet — to your taste.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Break the eggs into a bowl, season with salt, and beat with a fork.
- 2
Step 2

Melt the butter in a skillet. Grease the entire surface, then pour the rest into the omelet and whisk again.
- 3
Step 3

Place a butter-greased frying pan over heat and pour in the egg mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Tilt the pan from side to side so the omelet spreads evenly across the surface of the pan. When the omelet has thickened, fold it like a crepe and cut into portions. Serve while still hot.
