
Omelet with Cheese in the Oven
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. A tasty, tender omelet for breakfast or dinner is very easy to make. This amount is enough for three people, and thanks to the addition—grated cheese—the omelet will be more filling. Making a tasty omelet is very easy. If you don’t have time, use this quick recipe, in which I’ll tell you how. Serve with herbs and sauce.

You can make an omelet in two ways: beat the whites and yolks separately, or beat everything together. Try both. For now we’ll take the easy, quick route: whisk the eggs in a bowl without separating the yolks from the whites.

Add milk, salt, pepper, and baking soda.

Do not whip; simply mix on low speed until smooth. Grease the omelet baking dish with oil and pour the omelet mixture into it. Place in an oven preheated to 200°C.

Grate the cheese on a grater (fine or medium-sized).

About 20 minutes after putting the omelet in the oven to bake, carefully open the oven and sprinkle the omelet with grated cheese. Bake for another 7–10 minutes.

This is what a beautiful omelet should look like. But it doesn’t always turn out this perfect—sometimes the center sinks. That happens to experienced cooks too, so don’t worry.
