
Omelette with broccoli and tomatoes

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Broccoli is a highly nutritious product that goes wonderfully well with vegetables, particularly tomatoes. That's why a broccoli and tomato omelet made at home is an excellent hot dish, delicious enough even for a child. The finished dish can now be served.

1. First, you need to blanch the florets. To do this, place the cauliflower florets into boiling salted water, bring to a boil, cook for two minutes, then drain in a colander.

2. While the cabbage is set aside, sauté the onion. I usually slice it into half-rings. It's best to fry it in vegetable oil, but I took a chance and used butter instead (in this case, keep the heat as low as possible), or you can add a few drops of vegetable oil.

3. Add the broccoli to the same skillet. I usually add the tomatoes at the end, but if you prefer fried tomatoes, you can add them together with the cabbage.

4. While the vegetables are frying, beat the eggs with milk. Then pour this mixture into the pan and cover with a lid.

5. This is how it looks in the pan. At the very end, place the sliced tomato circles on top.

6. Finally, sprinkle everything with grated cheese. Now cover with a lid and let the omelet cook until done.
