Turkish omelet
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. Turkish omelet is made as follows: beat the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper into a smooth mixture and pour it onto a preheated skillet. When the omelet has set slightly, place chopped tomatoes, herbs, onion, and cheese on one half. Then, using a spatula, fold the other half of the omelet over the vegetables to form a kind of envelope. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting; it is important that the cheese melts but the omelet itself does not burn. Serve the finished omelet at the table.
