Catalan-style omelette
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make an incredibly delicious omelet of an unusual shape, I recommend using this recipe. It's very simple and quick to prepare, and to save even more time—prepare all the ingredients in advance, chopping and grating them. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Wash the eggs and cherry tomatoes, then dry them.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs in a deep bowl with a whisk until smooth.
- 3
Step 3

Grease the pan with olive oil and pour in half of the egg mixture. Cook over low heat for a couple of minutes until the bottom is slightly browned.
- 4
Step 4

Sprinkle the omelet with finely chopped ham, cheese, and cherry tomatoes, season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 5
Step 5

When the cheese has slightly melted, start rolling the omelet into a roll. Pour the remaining beaten eggs into a clean frying pan and cook until done.
- 6
Step 6

Roll the entire omelet into a roll, keep it in the pan for several minutes, turning occasionally so it cooks evenly. The cheese should melt completely, and the ham and tomatoes should heat through.
- 7
Step 7

Cut the roll into thick slices, place them on lettuce leaves, and serve to your family for breakfast.
