Fluffy pancakes with dry yeast
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I prepare these pancakes without adding eggs, so they are perfect for a fasting breakfast or for vegetarians. Serve the fluffy and aromatic pancakes hot, accompanied by sour cream or condensed milk. You can also use honey, jam, or any syrup. They can be served cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. Warm the water, then pour it into a bowl, add sugar and salt, mix, then add a spoonful of dry yeast and mix again, then leave at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Step 2

2. After 10 minutes the yeast has already started to work, so I gradually add the pre-sifted flour in portions.
- 3
Step 3

3. Using a spoon, mix the contents, adding a little more flour if necessary (the consistency should be like very thick sour cream).

Step 4

4. I don't start baking immediately. Instead, I cover the bowl with dough with a clean towel and leave it at room temperature for 1 hour, until the dough increases in volume by 2-3 times.

Step 5

5. After an hour, I check the dough; if it has already risen, I proceed to cooking. I place a frying pan on the stove, pour in sunflower oil, heat it well, and then spoon the dough onto the heated surface. I fry the pancakes on both sides until a golden-brown crust forms.

Step 6

6. Place the prepared pancakes on a plate, drizzle with chocolate topping, garnish with berries or fruits, and serve hot.
