
Oat and whole grain flour pancakes
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. These pancakes are aromatic and contain no regular wheat flour—only whole grain flour. You can use either quick-cooking or regular oats. Serve the pancakes immediately after frying, with fruits, berries, honey, or sour cream. They can be served cooled or slightly warm.

1. Slightly chop the oats in a food processor.

2. Mix with kefir and set aside; if using quick-cooking oats, 10 minutes is enough, but if using regular oats, 30 minutes is required.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to taste.

4. In a separate bowl, melt the butter, add the egg and brown sugar, and beat well.

5. Add the kefir mixture to the eggs and mix.

6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
