Hunters' sausages with potatoes in clay pots
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The dish cooked in a casserole or ceramic pot tastes much better if you add enough liquid during cooking. If you don't have broth, you can prepare its substitute—it will taste just as good. You'll see the recipe in step #9. Watch and remember. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To prepare the dish, slice the hunter's sausages into rounds.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the onion and cut it into cubes. You can also chop the onion using a grater or blender to avoid unnecessary tears while cutting.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Make the cubes small and of uniform size so that the potatoes cook evenly during baking. If the cubes are of different sizes or too thick, they will not cook through properly when baked.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté onion in vegetable oil.
- 5
Step 5

Add the pickled mushrooms.
- 6
Step 6

Add the sliced hunter's sausages.
- 7
Step 7

Place a little potato in the pot (up to half the pot).
- 8
Step 8

Place 3-4 tablespoons of sausage sauté into each casserole dish.
- 9
Step 9

Fill the empty space in the pot with leftover potatoes. Grate hard cheese and place it on top of the potatoes. Pour ½ cup of broth or prepared liquid (1 teaspoon salt + 100 grams butter + 2 cups water, heated in the microwave until the butter is completely melted) into each pot. Season each pot with spices.
- 10
Step 10

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the pots in the oven for 2 hours.
- 11
Step 11

Serve at the table.
