Cucumber lemonade with lime
Description
Cucumbers give lemonade a refreshing spring flavor, so feel free to add these vegetables when preparing the drink, making sure to taste them first. Even one bitter cucumber can spoil the taste of the entire beverage! Served chilled, lemonade is especially refreshing with ice on a hot summer day.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Chill the water in the refrigerator beforehand. You can use mineral water with or without gas, or filtered water.

Step 2

Wash the cucumbers in water and trim off the ends. Slice them into rounds or pieces and place them into a pitcher. If using late-season varieties, be sure to taste them first and remove the skin and seeds if necessary.

Step 3

Cut the lime and lemon quarters in half again, making eighths. Slice some of them into pieces and add the slices to the pitcher. Squeeze juice from the remaining pieces into a container.
