Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Lemonade isn't only lemon or orange flavored—it can also be cucumber lemonade. This beverage perfectly quenches thirst on hot summer days. Many of your friends, after trying this lemonade, will ask you to share the recipe and won't believe that cucumbers are actually an ingredient. The recipe for cucumber lemonade is very simple—see for yourself. Fresh cucumbers, lemon, mint, and sugar are the only ingredients needed. As a result, you'll get a refreshing and invigorating drink. Add ice cubes to the lemonade to cool it down quickly. The drink is ready to serve.

Step 1

First of all, I recommend that you boil all the water. We'll take one glass of water to make the syrup, and set the rest aside to cool. So, let's make the syrup. Pour one glass of water into a saucepan and add one glass of sugar. Stir, bring to a boil, and cook for about 2 minutes, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let it cool.

Step 2

Wash the lemons and squeeze the juice from them.

Step 3

Now it's time for the cucumbers. Wash them, chop, and put them into the blender container. Add the mint leaves as well. If you don't like mint, you can easily omit it. Blend everything into a puree. If you don't have a blender, grate the cucumbers on a fine grater, finely chop the mint, and rub it.

Step 4

Now strain the resulting purée through a fine sieve and cheesecloth. The final step is to mix the cucumber-mint juice, lemon juice, water, and syrup. The first time, I recommend adding the water and syrup in portions, tasting the lemonade as you go, and adjusting it to your personal taste.
