Cucumbers for Winter with Currant

Description

A simple canning recipe with no unnecessary fuss. For fans of unusual winter preserves. Pre-sterilize the jars and place the required spices in each one. Wash the black currants and cucumbers. Pack the cucumbers into the jars, layering with black currants. Pour in boiling marinade made from water, salt, and sugar. Sterilize the jars in boiling water for 10 minutes, then seal and leave them upside down until completely cool. Happy preserving! Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.

    Into each one-liter jar, place the following spices: bay leaf — 1 pc., cloves — 2 pcs., cherry leaf — 2 pcs., black currant leaf — 2 pcs., dill umbrellas and stems — 25 g, garlic cloves — 2–3 pcs., black peppercorns — 2–3 pcs., allspice berries — 2–3 pcs.

    Wash the currants and prepare the berries using one cup of currants per one-liter jar.

    Place the cucumbers in the jars, layering with currants. Prepare the brine: 50 g salt and 100 g sugar per liter of water. Bring it to a boil and pour over the jars of cucumbers. Sterilize the jars in boiling water for 10 minutes, then seal and leave upside down until completely cooled.
