in the Tiraspol style
Description
This dish got its name due to the visual similarity of the meat rolls to cucumbers; besides, the filling includes pickled cucumbers along with other vegetables. Some people add mushrooms, dried apricots, or prunes to the "Tiraspol-style cucumbers." For making the "cucumbers," you'll need pork tenderloin, which yields excellent rolls—moderately fatty and very juicy. So, jot down my recipe.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I previously cut the pork tenderloin into cutlet-like slices and pounded them.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the cucumbers, onion, and garlic into small cubes. First sauté the onion with garlic in a small amount of sunflower oil, then add the cucumbers and cook for a few more minutes.

Step 3

Place the meat on a cutting board and season both sides with salt and pepper. Put one teaspoon of filling on each piece of meat.
- 4
Step 4

Roll the meat into tight rolls. Break an egg into a separate bowl, lightly beat it, and dip the rolls into the egg.
- 5
Step 5

Then coat in breadcrumbs.
- 6
Step 6

Place the rolls in a baking dish and put in the oven for 30 minutes. The optimal baking temperature is 200 degrees.
