Description
My classic baking recipe is perfect for everyday use. This cake is called "Capital." All the proportions in it are balanced and calculated. It has a dense texture, yet slightly moist inside. As an additional ingredient, I've added raisins. Nuts would also work well. Serve it warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Beat the butter at room temperature with sugar.

Then pour in the alcohol. Add the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture after each addition. Next, sift the flour with salt and baking powder. Knead the dough.

At the end, add the raisins. Mix once again. Pour the dough into a heatproof form, slightly greased with oil.

Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Dust it with powdered sugar once it has cooled. Enjoy your tea time!
