Very simple cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You don't need to make caramel or nougat for this recipe—just prepare a delicious cream with condensed milk, peanuts, butter, and buttery crackers. The taste of this cake is very similar to a real Snickers (especially if you lightly toast the peanuts). Be sure to cover the finished cake with chocolate glaze. This recipe uses dark chocolate glaze, but milk chocolate glaze works just as well. Feel free to experiment. The dessert is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat them with a mixer until very fluffy. Gradually add sugar in small portions and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Add the yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 2
Step 2

2. Sift the flour and mix it with starch and baking powder. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture in small portions and gently mix the batter with a spatula.
- 3
Step 3

3. Line a 24 cm diameter pan with parchment paper and spread the dough evenly in it. Bake in a preheated oven at 170-180°C for 30-35 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer.

Step 4

4. Cool the biscuit, then cut it into three parts. For the cream, beat soft butter with condensed milk using a mixer for 2-3 minutes. Grind part of the roasted peanuts in a blender, and roughly chop the other part with a knife.
- 5
Step 5

5. Add the chopped peanuts and sweet crackers, broken into small pieces, to the cream and mix. Assemble the cake: spread cream between two cake layers, leaving the top layer "naked."
- 6
Step 6

6. Temper the chocolate with butter in the microwave, then pour the resulting glaze over the cake. Also cover the sides with the glaze (it's easier to do when it has cooled slightly).
- 7
Step 7

7. Decorate the cake with chopped peanuts, sliced "Snickers" bars, or cracker pieces. Refrigerate the cake overnight.
