Very simple cookies with pineapples
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. If you have nothing to offer your guests, just take puff pastry from the freezer and preheat the oven—pineapple rings in puff pastry will surely delight everyone. This method works well with almost any fruit. Since pineapples are quite sweet on their own, you won't need to use sweeteners or large amounts of powdered sugar. Note that you'll need about 24 pineapple slices, which is roughly two cans. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. Remove the pineapples from the syrup and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the puff pastry into strips 1 cm wide and 20 cm long (do not roll out the pastry).

2. Divide the strip into four equal parts, slightly stretch them and arrange them in a cross shape. Pinch the center of the cross. Place a pineapple ring in the center on top, then wrap the remaining dough edges around it, bringing them toward the middle.
