
Sea Buckthorn Syrup
Description
Sea buckthorn syrup is an extremely effective remedy that anyone can easily prepare at home. It contains a huge amount of vitamins B and C, iron, carotene, malic acid, fatty oils, and many other substances that strengthen the human body. So if sea buckthorn grows in your region, it would be a downright sin not to prepare some of this sea buckthorn syrup for winter.

First, sort the sea buckthorn, remove any debris, and thoroughly rinse it.

Using a food processor, grind the washed berries.

We strain the resulting sea buckthorn mass through a sieve twice.

So, essentially, you end up with sea buckthorn juice like this. Add all of our sugar to this juice, mix thoroughly, and leave it in a dry, cool place for 24 hours. It's advisable to stir the mixture approximately every two hours to help the sugar dissolve better.

After 24 hours, when the sugar has dissolved in the sea buckthorn juice, you can pour the sea buckthorn syrup into jars and store it. The sea buckthorn syrup prepared according to this recipe can be stored for up to a year.
