Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Prepare the product. Let’s get started!
- 2
Step 2

2. Add salt, sugar, and yeast to warm milk and dissolve all the ingredients.
- 3
Step 3

3. Add the flour, knead a soft dough.
- 4
Step 4

4. Cover the dough with a clean dry towel, let it rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours. I leave it in a preheated, turned‑off oven.
- 5
Step 5

5. Finely chop the garlic, melt the butter and combine it with the garlic. The butter should be not hot but nicely warm, to bring out the garlic aroma. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- 6
Step 6

6. The dough is ready! Press it with your hands.
- 7
Step 7

7. Divide the dough into portions, roll each into a ball, size – no larger than a walnut. While I was rolling the balls, the dough rose and expanded well right on the table. You can make many more balls than I did; the bread will be even more interesting.
- 8
Step 8

8. Take a non‑stick pan, no need to grease it. Dip each dough ball in garlic butter so that it coats the dough on all sides. Place it in the pan.
- 9
Step 9

9. Arrange the balls at a short distance from each other so the dough has room to expand. Generously sprinkle the first row with cheese.
- 10
Step 10

10. Place the next row of balls on top, sprinkle with cheese. Put the pan in a warm place for 15‑20 minutes to proof.
- 11
Step 11

11. Bake the bread at 180 °C for 30–35 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

12. Let the bread cool a bit, remove it from the pan. Try it!
