Awesome lasagna
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. It doesn't matter for which particular occasion you're making lasagna—it will suit any holiday or an ordinary lunch! There are two ways to prepare lasagna: you can either place the lasagna sheets at the bottom of the dish first, or start by layering the filling right away. All ingredient proportions in this recipe are calculated for a 21x21 cm baking dish. Be sure to add grated Parmesan at the end of cooking—this will make the lasagna very aromatic and appetizing in appearance. The finished dish is ready to be served.

Step 1

1. Prepare the tomato sauce: sauté finely chopped garlic in olive oil, then add tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar. Let it simmer briefly to reduce slightly, and if desired, blend into a puree using a blender.

Step 2

2. Prepare the béchamel sauce: melt the butter over low heat, then add the flour and mix well until smooth.

Step 3

3. Gradually add the heated milk, nutmeg, black pepper, and salt. Whisk well and bring the sauce to a boil. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Strain the sauce through a sieve.

Step 7

7. Brush the top layer with sauces and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Then remove the lasagna, sprinkle with grated Parmesan, and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
