Prepare the necessary ingredients. Soak the dried fruits in hot water for 10 minutes and drain the water. Chop the nuts into coarse crumbs.

Beat the eggs and sugar into a fluffy foam until the sugar dissolves. Mix the sour cream, melted butter and honey until smooth, add to the egg mixture, and beat.

Mix the flour, leavening agent, cocoa powder, and spices until smooth. Mix in portions with the egg‑butter mixture. Add the chopped nuts and dried fruits, and stir.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease a 14×18 cm pan with butter, fill with batter. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes until a dry toothpick.

Cool the finished gingerbread in the pan, and then on a rack.

Cut the gingerbread into two layers. Cut each layer into equal triangles.
