New Year's Crab Stick Rolls
Description
It's suitable both for a holiday and for everyday meals. Since there isn't much time left until New Year's, I recommend taking a closer look at this recipe. You can make New Year's crab stick rolls practically in no time. Despite that, the appetizer turns out light, delicate, and very tasty! The filling for the rolls can be very varied — I use eggs, cheese, and garlic. It's worth noting that in any version, this appetizer will be tasty and presentable. Your guests will leave both full and happy! Give it a try. Serve with fresh herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Hard-boil the eggs in advance and let them cool.
- 2
Step 2

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Grate the egg whites on a coarse grater, and the yolks separately on a fine grater. Also grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- 3
Step 3

Combine the egg whites, grated cheese, and pressed garlic. Add dill, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix. The filling is ready.

Step 4

If necessary, thaw the crab sticks and carefully unroll them, trying not to tear them. If the crab sticks are difficult to unroll, microwave them for just 5–10 seconds, then gently knead them with your hands. Place a little filling on each unrolled stick, leaving about 1.5–2 cm from the edge.

Step 5

Carefully roll the stick into a tube so the filling ends up inside. Fill all the crab sticks this way.
- 6
Step 6

Dip each stick on both sides first in mayonnaise, then in grated egg yolks. Also brush the sticks lightly with mayonnaise on top and garnish with egg yolk.

Step 7

New Year's crab stick rolls are ready. They can be served right away, but it's better to chill the appetizer for a couple of hours first. And Happy New Year!
