New Year's Hot Dogs
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Today I want to share three recipes with you. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Prepare french fries in advance or buy them at the store; fry the onion in half rings in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- 2
Step 2

Trim the edges of the bun slightly. Also make a cut down the middle, but do not cut the bun all the way through (as a hot dog bun is usually cut).
- 3
Step 3

Toast the bun on the cut sides in butter.
- 4
Step 4

Make a slit down the middle, add a little ketchup, and place two sausages fried in oil in a pan.
- 5
Step 5

Sprinkle ketchup and a little mustard on top. Add the sautéed onions.
- 6
Step 6

Garnish the hot dog with thin kiwi slices and guelder rose berries or pomegranate seeds.
- 7
Step 7

Second hot dog option. Make a cut down the middle of the bun and spray ketchup inside. Pan-fry the hunter’s sausage on a regular skillet or grill pan — that will make it even tastier. Place the fried sausage in the middle of the bun.
- 8
Step 8

On top, sprinkle with hard cheese grated on a fine grater and drizzle with ketchup and mustard. I use American mustard; it is not too spicy.
- 9
Step 9

And the final touch—garnish the hot dog with red caviar; you can also add a sprig of parsley. The second hot dog is ready!
- 10
Step 10

And here's the third hot dog variation! Slice the bun as usual, spread a little ketchup on the inside. Place one sausage and half a hunter's sausage (fried, of course) inside, as shown in the photo.
- 11
Step 11

Top with french fries.
- 12
Step 12

Drizzle with ketchup and mustard. And the final touch—garnish the hot dog with olive slices. Done!
- 13
Step 13

Three festive hot dog options are ready! Try them!
