
Gnocchi with bacon
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can use any bacon—smoked or dry-cured. Fry the bacon and add it to the already cooked gnocchi. When serving, you can additionally add sour cream and fresh herbs. To speed up the cooking process, boil the potatoes for the gnocchi in advance. Keep this recipe in mind. Serve hot.

Prepare the ingredients. Boil the potatoes in their skins in advance.

Grate the potato on a medium grater and place it in a bowl, then add a chicken egg.

Add flour, salt, and pepper. Mix everything and knead the dough.

Gather the dough into a ball.

Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll each into a sausage shape, then cut it into small portion-sized pieces, as shown in the photo.

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add salt. Drop the gnocchi into the water and cook until they float to the surface.
