Low-carb bread
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. To make this low-carb bread, you don’t have to run around stores looking for the right flour. You can easily make it at home from regular rolled oats and flax seeds by grinding them in a blender or coffee grinder. This bread stays fresh for a long time; you can eat it with soups and main dishes, and make sandwiches with it. It is best baked in a special bread pan, but a silicone one like mine will also work. You can serve it with tea or coffee.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making low-carb bread.

Step 2

Place oat flour and flaxseed flour in a bowl. Add salt and baking powder, and mix.

Step 5

Place the honey in a bowl and mix everything thoroughly until smooth and until the salt and honey have dissolved.
- 6
Step 6

Combine both parts and knead into a soft, sticky dough.
- 7
Step 7

Transfer the dough to a 12×22 cm baking pan and level it out. If desired, you can sprinkle the top with flax seeds.
- 8
Step 8

Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 40–50 minutes, until done. The doneness of the dough can be checked with a wooden skewer. If you pierce the bread with it and it comes out dry when removed, the bread is ready. Remove from the oven, let stand for 5–10 minutes, and take the bread out. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
