Homemade pastries for tea. In just 1 hour, you can prepare incredibly delicious German-style buns with marzipan and raisins! Simple yeast dough, a layer of almond flour and glucose syrup, dried fruits, and icing make these buns truly unforgettable—soft, fluffy, aromatic, and so appetizing to look at!     1. Mix the sifted flour with dry yeast (if you are not using Dr. Oetker yeast, prepare a starter first). Pour warm milk into a bowl, add salt, sugar, and half of the flour. Mix well.

    2. Separately beat the egg with a whisk, add the soft butter and beat with a whisk. Add 1 tsp of lemon zest and mix. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir.

    3. Add the remaining flour. With hands coated in vegetable oil, knead the dough first in the bowl, then on the table. The dough will become elastic.

    4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours. Prepare the filling: pour invert syrup into a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat almost to boiling, then remove from heat.

    5. Add almond flour, a few drops of almond essence, and one teaspoon of rum or brandy. Transfer the mixture onto parchment paper, roll into a log, and refrigerate.

    6. Mash half of the mixture by hand and mix it with the remaining milk. Transfer the dough onto a table, knead it slightly, then roll it out into a 1 cm thick sheet.

    7. On top, place the mixture of almond flour and washed, dried raisins. Roll up the dough into a log and cut it into 3-4 cm wide slices. Place the buns on a baking sheet and let them rest for 30 minutes to rise.

    8. Mix the juice of half a lemon with powdered sugar and whisk with a whisk. Brush the buns with lightly beaten egg and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
