Tender apple pie without eggs
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. The special feature of this pie is that it doesn't require eggs—without them, it turns out just as tender, moist, and delicious as a classic apple pie. Be sure to prepare the crumb topping to sprinkle over the almost-ready pie; it will create a delicate sweet crust on top of the apples. Sprinkle the apples themselves with sugar or powdered sugar to make them sweeter, and add cinnamon, which nicely enhances the fruit's aroma. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
