Crumb Peach Pie
Description
The recipe does not take much time. The pie is delicious both hot and cold. You can take it to work, on a trip, or on a picnic. Children especially love the baked shortbread crumble topping; they are drawn to the pie because it is not one solid piece. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the indicated ingredients. Rinse the peaches in water, removing the fuzzy coating from the surface of the fruit.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the wheat flour, 60 grams of granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder into a deep container. Mix gently and form a well. Pour odorless vegetable oil into the well.
- 3
Step 3

Using a fork, rub everything in the bowl together until you have a sandy crumb texture. Put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees, cut each peach in half and remove the stone. Put half of the shortbread crumble in the pan and level it out.
- 5
Step 5

Arrange peach halves on the dough.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle with granulated sugar. If you like, you can add a little vanilla sugar.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle the top with the remaining crumbs and place the pan in the oven.
- 8
Step 8

Bake for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown on the top rack of the oven.
- 9
Step 9

Cool slightly, then transfer the pie to a plate, or serve it at the table right in the baking dish.
