Tincture on dried fruits
Description
Homemade tincture is the safest and tastiest among all strong alcoholic beverages! It should only be made with strong alcohol, otherwise it will become a completely different drink. To vary the flavor, it's great to add pine cones, citrus peels, various fruit and berry twigs. In general, there's plenty of room for your imagination.
Instructions

Step 1

To make a homemade tincture, you need very little. The base is a strong alcoholic beverage. This can be good-quality vodka, moonshine, or diluted spirits. Of course, homemade moonshine is the best option. If you don't have it, use vodka instead.

Step 2

Once you have the base, the infusion will follow! For this, take about 300 grams of dried fruits per 2 liters, although the portion can be smaller or larger—up to your discretion. If you want the infusion to have a stronger dried fruit flavor, use a larger quantity. Rinse the dried fruits. In my case, these are raisins and dried apricots.

Step 3

For steeping the liquid, you can use a jar, bottle, or other glass container. Do not use iron or plastic containers for this purpose. Choose a container that can be tightly sealed. Place the dried fruits into the container.
- 4
Step 4

Pour our flammable liquid into bottles with dried fruits. Close with a lid and place in a dark place at room temperature. Let the tincture gain strength there for two weeks.

Step 5

Every 3 days, remember to shake the tincture well to mix it thoroughly. After the time has passed, you can filter the tincture through gauze with cotton to make it clear. There will still be a lot of liquid left in the dried fruits. Squeeze them out first. The tincture is ready. It can be stored for a long time, so you don't need to drink it all at once!
