
Tincture made from red currants
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Red currant gives the infusion a beautiful color and excellent taste. However, it has almost no aroma, which is why mint is added. If you don't like mint, you can omit it entirely or replace it with lemon balm sprigs. You can reduce the amount of sugar to your taste.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making red currant tincture.

Remove the currants from the stems, sort through them, rinse, and thoroughly dry on a paper towel. Place the berries into a clean, dry jar.

Place mint sprigs in the jar with the currants.

Add sugar to the jar.

Pour vodka into the jar with berries, mint, and sugar.

Close the jar with a tight lid and shake. Store in a dark place for 14 days, shaking daily. Then strain the tincture, pour into bottles, and seal.
