Lemon tincture
Description
A bright citrus aroma will fill your home as soon as you open the jug with this colorful infusion. All your relatives and friends who visit will be absolutely crazy about it. Store the drink in the cold; its shelf life is up to 1 year, though it probably won't last that long. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Choose thin-skinned, juicy lemons.
- 2
Step 2

Scald the lemons with boiling water, dry them thoroughly with a towel, and grate the zest onto a plate.
- 3
Step 3

Next, roll the fruits on the table, pressing gently to release the juice. Cut them into quarters, draining the juice into a jar. Remove the pits from the fruits and slice them. Add the slices to the jar together with the zest.
- 4
Step 4

Add granulated sugar. Optionally, you can add a little vanilla sugar or ground cinnamon, or cinnamon sticks.
- 5
Step 5

Pour high-quality vodka without a bitter aftertaste to the brim of the container.
- 6
Step 6

Close the container with a lid and shake the jar well until the sugar dissolves. You can slightly warm the sugar in lemon juice beforehand, then you won't need to shake the container. Store the infusion for 1-2 days in a cool, dark place, shaking it occasionally. After 1-2 days, the drink will be ready, having absorbed the aroma and flavor of the lemons and the sweetness of the sugar.

Step 7

Strain the aromatic quick-infused tincture through a sieve and discard the residue. Pour the drink into a decanter and distribute into small glasses. Serve chilled.
