Pomegranate syrup
Description
Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. I want to tell you, serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. The preparation process is quite long and painstaking. First, wash and slightly dry the pomegranates. With a sharp knife, cut off the "caps."
- 2
Step 2

2. Then you need to separate the seeds from the skin and white membranes.

Step 3

3. The pomegranate seeds need to be slightly crushed. You can do this with a potato masher, or by rolling them with a rolling pin after placing them in a plastic bag, for example, or simply by pulsing them in a blender for just 2 seconds. Then transfer the seeds along with the juice to a saucepan and place over heat.

Step 4

4. Boil the juice for 5-7 minutes, periodically mashing the grains in the saucepan. Then strain the juice through a colander to remove all the seeds. Return to low heat and simmer until thickened. Add salt, sugar, and spices during the process.
