from ready-made puff pastry with condensed milk
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. Nowadays, you can find numerous "Napoleon" cake recipes online. However, this one is considered the simplest and most understandable for all home cooks. Preparing this cake quickly doesn't take much time. Only two things matter here: making the cream and ensuring the dough layers don't burn. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

Unroll the ready-made puff pastry and remove the plastic film. Cut one sheet of pastry in half to make two equal pieces, using a knife. The knife should be sharp so the pastry doesn't tear.

Step 2

Place the dough layers on parchment paper. Put them in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Bake for 15–20 minutes (depending on the oven). Watch carefully to prevent the flatbreads from burning.

Step 3

Cut our cakes in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. Do this while they are still warm, otherwise it will be difficult to cut the dough later. As a result, you should end up with twice as many cake layers. Whip the butter with condensed milk, then use this mixture to spread between the layers once they have cooled down.

Step 4

We set one cake layer aside. We'll need it later for decoration. We generously cover the cake on all sides: sides and top, don't skimp on the cream.

Step 5

Rub the reserved cake layer with your hands into coarse crumbs. Use these crumbs to decorate the cake on all sides. That's it, the dessert is ready!
