Description

Perfect with tea and coffee. This pourable pie recipe is ideal for those who don't like or don't know how to make complicated dough. The dough for this pie resembles pancake batter—it's just as liquid. Essentially, you simply pour it over the filling, which is why it's often called "pourable" dough. The key requirement for a pourable pie is soft dough, achieved by using fermented dairy products along with baking soda. Kefir-based pourable pies, for instance, are especially popular. Of course, kefir isn't the only option—yogurt or sour cream work well too. Today, we'll take a closer look at a recipe for a meat-filled pourable pie using kefir-based dough. Shall we begin? Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Step 1

We prepare the simplest dough imaginable. Mix: baking soda, kefir, mayonnaise, eggs, salt, and sugar. Beat well with a whisk or mixer. Then gradually add flour until the dough reaches a consistency similar to not-too-thick sour cream.
