Filling for tartlets with red fish

20 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Red fish pairs best with greens and cheese. To make the filling for tartlets with red fish, you can use, for example, lightly salted salmon, cream cheese or soft cheese, dill (you can also add parsley), and butter. The tartlets themselves can be store-bought, or you can make simple but tasty potato tartlets—they go wonderfully with the red fish filling. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Grate the raw potatoes on a grater. Squeeze the potatoes well to remove excess liquid. Then beat an egg into the potatoes and mix everything thoroughly again.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Grease silicone molds with butter and fill them with grated potato. The edges don’t need to be neat—the tartlets can look like nests.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes at 200°C until golden. Then remove the finished potato tartlets and let them cool.

  4. 4

Now for the most interesting part — the filling: dice the fish into small cubes. Grate the cream cheese (you can use soft cheese; it doesn't have to be cream cheese) or mash it with a fork. Grate the butter too (it should be firm, straight from the refrigerator). Finely chop the dill. Mix everything together; you can even blend it until smooth.

I recommend adding larger pieces of red fish to the resulting purée—it will look nicer.

    Step 6

Fill the tartlets with the filling — and you can serve them.

    Serve immediately or slightly chilled.
