
Naan
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Indian national flatbread. Naan is eaten with soups, tea, or as a main dish. Can be served with tea or coffee.

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the yeast, sugar, and water. Stir to dissolve and let it rise for several minutes. At this point, combine the oil, yogurt, and egg.

In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of flour with salt. Then gradually add all the mixtures and flour, constantly stirring.

Finish kneading the dough on the table, adding flour as needed. Use approximately 3 cups of flour in total. Shape the dough into a ball, cover it, and let it rise (about 45 minutes). Once risen, divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each into a ball.

Heat a non-stick skillet. Roll out each ball to a thickness of 0.5 cm and a diameter of 15 cm. Fry on one side until bubbles form and the surface turns golden-brown.

Flip over and fry the same way.
