Meat in a bag on a bed of onions
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Personally, I absolutely love fresh, hot meat—steaks, shashlik... Well, who doesn't? But how often does it happen that in winter, for example, it's too cold to go out for a barbecue—should we really deny ourselves the pleasure? That's why I highly recommend this recipe for cooking meat in a baking sleeve on a bed of onions—it tastes very much like real shashlik, only piping hot and fresh from the oven! So here's how to make meat in a baking sleeve on a bed of onions. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Cut the meat into cubes, as for shashlik. Prepare a marinade from spices, mustard, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 2–6 hours.

Step 2

2. Marinate the onion. Mix 4 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of vinegar, and sugar. Slice the onion into half-rings and marinate in this mixture for an hour. Place into a baking bag (without the marinade).

Step 3

3. Add the prepared meat to the onion. Tie the edges of the bag, and place it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for one and a half hours.
