Meat in pots
Description
If you have ceramic pots, be sure to cook in them instead of using them as kitchen decor. Any dish baked in pots in the oven will differ from the same dish cooked on the stovetop. Don't believe me? Let me tell you,
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

As you can see, we'll be cooking with a minimal set of ingredients. Add any vegetables you like to suit your taste—you can't go wrong.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry it in a pan with vegetable oil over high heat.
- 3
Step 3

We peel and chop the carrots and onions. We slice the onions into quarter-rings and the carrots into half-rings.
- 4
Step 4

The meat has browned nicely, so remove it from the pan. Then pour one and a half cups of water into the pan and bring it to a boil.
- 5
Step 5

Divide the meat into the pots. I ended up with two pots, each with a capacity of 0.8 liters.
- 6
Step 6

Place the sliced mushrooms on top of the meat. I'm using frozen white mushrooms.
- 7
Step 7

Now add the carrots.
- 8
Step 8

And onion. Add salt and pepper to each pot.
- 9
Step 9

And add finely chopped herbs.
- 10
Step 10

And now add the water from the skillet. The water level should be 1.5-2 cm below the rim of the pot. I wanted meat with sauce for lunch, so I added exactly that amount of water. If you don't need sauce, add one-third cup of water to each pot.
- 11
Step 11

Cover the pots with lids and place them in a cold oven. Turn on the temperature to 200 degrees and cook for 1 hour. Remember that cooking time depends on the meat, so after an hour check if it is done.
- 12
Step 12

The meat turns out tender, juicy, and very tasty.
