Meat in mustard sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Meat in mustard sauce is a very tasty dish. It turns out extremely juicy, despite being made from rather lean tenderloin. The mustard sauce adds the necessary spiciness, making the meat especially interesting—simply put, this dish is almost perfect from a culinary standpoint. To prepare the meat in mustard sauce according to my recipe, you'll need about 30–40 minutes. By the way, mashed potatoes make the best side dish. I hope you know how to prepare that :) So, here's the recipe for meat in mustard sauce—read and memorize. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the tenderloin thoroughly, then cut off any excess fat and membranes.
- 2
Step 2

Cut into portion pieces about 3 cm thick.
- 3
Step 3

The pieces should be dry. Therefore, remove any remaining water using a paper towel. Rub the pieces with salt and pepper.
- 4
Step 4

Pour oil into a heavy skillet and sauté the pork pieces in it. Sear on both sides until a crust forms, about 5 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Fry the pieces in batches. Place the cooked ones on a plate.
- 6
Step 6

In the same skillet where the meat was fried, now sauté the finely chopped onion until it becomes semi-transparent.
- 7
Step 7

Then increase the heat to maximum and pour in the wine, stirring constantly.
- 8
Step 8

Cook until the wine has almost completely evaporated.
- 9
Step 9

Then place the pieces of meat into the pan, pour in the broth, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

After the meat has finished simmering, remove it, place it on a plate, and cover with foil. Now we'll prepare our delicious mustard sauce. Take our dry mustard. :)
- 11
Step 11

Add to the pan one teaspoon each of dry mustard and mustard sauce, add cream, and mix well. Cook until thickened. If your sauce turns out too thin, I recommend adding a spoonful of flour.
- 12
Step 12

Place the mashed potatoes, a piece of meat, and our freshly prepared sauce on a plate. Done!
