
Italian-style oven-baked meat
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I started cooking Italian-style oven-baked meat when, for the first time after a festive meal, I had leftover French-style meat. That's when I realized the dish had become a bit boring and it was time to try something new. But how could I do without meat? Then I came across a recipe. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I previously sliced the meat into thin pieces about 7-8 mm thick. I peeled the onion and carrots.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Line a baking sheet with foil and spread the carrots on it in an even layer. This will be the "bed" for the meat.

Season the meat with salt and pepper on both sides, then place it on the bed of carrots.

Top with rings of young onion.

Cover the meat with a sheet of foil and place it in the oven for 20–25 minutes. Then remove the foil, sprinkle the meat with finely grated cheese, and leave it for another 10 minutes.

The Italian-style meat is ready. Serve it hot. If it has already cooled by the time guests arrive, reheat it in the oven or microwave.
