Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash a piece of lean pork (tenderloin, shoulder, or rear leg will work), pat dry, and trim off excess fat. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it over high heat. Place the meat in the pan and fry for ten minutes until a golden crust forms, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the fried meat to a heavy-bottomed pot or a cauldron. Add tomato paste to the meat.
- 4
Step 4

Pour several cups of hot water into the cauldron. Mix well until the tomato paste is completely dissolved in the water. Cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer the pork over low heat for forty minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Peel and wash the onion. Cut it into half-rings or smaller pieces. Pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into a frying pan and sauté the onion in it until golden brown.
- 6
Step 6

Take a clean and dry non-stick frying pan, heat it over low heat. Pour the flour into the pan and toast it until golden, stirring constantly.
- 7
Step 7

Add fried flour, onion, and sour cream to the pork in the cauldron. Throw in a couple of bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste. Add a little more water if necessary. Mix all ingredients and simmer for five to ten minutes until fully cooked.
