
Meat stewed with mushrooms
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can use a small cauldron, a deep frying pan, or a pot. Mushrooms can be replaced with any other mushrooms, including wild or even dried ones (previously soaked and rinsed). The dish can be served on its own or with a side of potatoes or rice. The ready dish can be served at the table.

1. Wash the beef and cut it into pieces, rub the meat with salt and black pepper, and let it sit for 10 minutes.

2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan, add the beef, and fry for about 7-10 minutes.

3. Transfer the meat from the pot to a plate, return the pot to the heat and add the remaining butter.

4. Clean the mushrooms and slice them, place them in a pot. Peel the onion and dice it, mince the garlic, and add everything to the mushrooms.

5. Place the meat in a saucepan, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

6. Pour in the beef broth (or water), add tomato paste, parsley, and oregano, bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for about 1 hour.

7. After an hour, open the lid and pour in the cream, cook for a couple more minutes.

8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix, turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
