Meat with celery
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The recipe for meat with celery is incredibly simple, yet hardly anyone would call the final result ordinary. It's best to use chicken or beef, though you can also try pork or any other meat. 1. Wash and dry the meat (I used chicken) and cut it into portion-sized pieces. Place in a deep bowl. 2. Prepare the marinade: mix soy sauce, brandy, and flour into a smooth mixture, then pour over the chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes. 3. While the chicken is marinating, slice the celery and shell the walnuts. 4. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, and sauté slightly until it begins to turn golden. Carefully remove the garlic—it won't be needed anymore. 5. Add the chicken to the pan and fry until fully cooked. 6. Remove the chicken and in the same pan, lightly sauté the walnuts. 7. In a separate container, heat the broth to a boil and simmer the celery in it for a short time. Season with salt to taste. 8. Add the chicken and walnuts to the celery, and cook together for about 5 minutes. This home-cooked meat with celery will turn out just as delicious as an exquisite restaurant dish. If desired, garnish with fresh herbs or slices of blanched carrots before serving. Serve as a standalone dish or with rice. The finished dish is ready to be served.
