Meat with mushrooms and cheese
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. If you want to diversify your holiday table, you can prepare meat with mushrooms and cheese, baked in the oven. Adjust the number of layers to your preference. I recommend 4-5 layers, which will be the perfect option. Additionally, you can use any type of meat. Pork or chicken fillet works best. The finished dish can be served immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. I really wanted to prepare this dish using chicken fillet instead of pork. Actually, you can use any meat you prefer.
- 2
Step 2

2. Cut the fillet into pieces, then pound each piece with a mallet on both sides.
- 3
Step 3

3. Add salt and spices, a little vegetable oil, and (if desired) garlic.
- 4
Step 4

4. Separately sauté the onion in vegetable oil.
- 5
Step 5

5. Slice the mushrooms and add them to the onions. Cook until the mushrooms are done (add a little water if necessary).
- 6
Step 6

6. Season the filling to taste as well (you can use regular ground black pepper, nothing extra).
- 7
Step 7

7. Beat the egg with a small amount of flour (a couple of pinches).
- 8
Step 8

8. Dip each cutlet into the egg wash.
- 9
Step 9

9. Then dip both sides in flour.
- 10
Step 10

10. Place the cutlets onto a baking tray greased with vegetable oil. Now we'll start "stuffing" them.
- 11
Step 11

11. Place our mushroom filling, then cover with another cutlet (not dipped in egg wash and not coated in flour).
- 12
Step 12

12. Each layer should be coated with mayonnaise. The next layer is grated cheese.
- 13
Step 13

13. Close the cutlet again.
- 14
Step 14

14. Then — another layer of filling, mayonnaise, cutlet, and grated cheese again. Adjust the number of layers to your preference.
- 15
Step 15

15. Then place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- 16
Step 16

16. After baking, let the cutlets rest for a few minutes, then remove and serve.
- 17
Step 17

17. That's it, our meat with mushrooms and cheese is ready! This delicious dish is perfect served on its own. The only side I would recommend is vegetables (preferably fresh ones).
