1. The recipe for steppe-style meat begins with preparing the pork. Wash and dry the meat. Remove excess fat and cut into portion-sized pieces. Carefully pound each piece. You can use plastic wrap or a plastic bag to prevent damaging the meat.

2. Wash and dry the fresh herbs. Chop finely and place in a deep bowl.

3. Peel the potatoes and onion. Peel and press the garlic through a garlic press (or grate finely). Finely dice the onion. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. Add the potatoes, onion, and garlic to the bowl with the herbs. In a separate container, beat the egg. Add sour cream and flour. Combine the vegetables with the egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
