French-style meat with chicken and potatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I really love cooking meat à la française, but when I tried making it with chicken and potatoes, I was surprised how the dish changes when you replace pork with poultry. You won't understand how delicious it is until you try this amazing dish. Chicken is tender on its own, and under cheese and mayonnaise, it simply melts in your mouth. Meat à la française with chicken and potatoes can be served at festive tables, for a regular family dinner, or just for yourself. See, serve hot.

Step 1

Cut the chicken into small pieces. Place them in a deep plate and season with spices to taste. I used pepper, salt, parsley, and paprika. Pour half a pack of mayonnaise over the chicken, mix well, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes, carrots, and onion, and wash them under cold running water. Slice the potatoes into rounds about 1 cm thick. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, and dice the onion into small cubes.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with oil, place carrots and onions on it. Then add the potatoes. Put the chicken on top.

Step 4

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Then sprinkle it over the chicken. Pour mayonnaise on top. Bake the chicken "à la française" with potatoes for about 40 minutes. Then remove from the oven and enjoy.
