Chicken French-style
Description
It's hard to imagine a lively festive party or a quiet family dinner without a delicious hot appetizer. This dish can serve as either a main course or a portioned snack. Small molds can be made from foil to serve the dish in individual portions.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Separate the chicken fillet from the chicken carcass. Cut the skinless fillet into small slices. Cover each slice of meat with plastic wrap and pound it with a meat mallet. Using plastic wrap prevents the meat from tearing.
- 2
Step 2

I really like to save on dishes when cooking. Using foil helps reduce the number of dishes. So, fold the foil in half. Place it on a small baking sheet. Put the pounded poultry meat on the foil.
- 3
Step 3

The meat should be seasoned with pepper and salt to taste.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the potatoes into small strips.
- 5
Step 5

Coat the meat with sour cream. Place the sliced potatoes evenly on top of everything.
- 6
Step 6

Slice the tomatoes into circles or half-circles. Spread them out evenly as well. Bake the dish in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Grate the hard cheese on a grater. Sprinkle the dish with cheese. Add a little spice. Bake the meat à la française in the oven for about 10 minutes. This time will be enough for the cheese to melt and form a golden crust.

Step 8

Serve the meat at the table. This dish is a complete meat dish and is prepared together with a side dish.
