Meat roasted in a large piece
Description
Fried meat in large pieces is a great option for a family dinner when you want to treat your loved ones to a delicious dish. I wouldn't serve any side dish with this meat—just a light vegetable salad, or at worst, roasted or grilled vegetables. It's very tasty to pour the meat with the sauce it was cooked in; my family even soaked up the sauce with bread, it's that delicious.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the meat into portion pieces about 1.5-2 cm thick. Place them in a deep bowl, add vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and paprika, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, and mix thoroughly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably 3-4 hours.
- 3
Step 3

Then place the meat in the skillet and fry over medium heat on both sides until a golden crust forms.
- 4
Step 4

Here's how beautiful the meat turned out, but inside it's still a bit undercooked. This is acceptable for beef, but pork needs to be cooked further.
- 5
Step 5

Pour 150 ml of broth (you can use water, but broth tastes better) into a pan and add a couple of lemon slices.
- 6
Step 6

Simmer the meat for 15 minutes over low heat (but so that the broth is boiling).
- 7
Step 7

The meat cooked perfectly, remaining juicy and tender.

Step 8

Done.
